Stress comes into our life both expectedly and unexpectedly. So many variables play a role in how long these stressful situation impact us and to what degree. Understanding our habits around stressful events, how our body reacts to these events, as well as tools that help you during stressful times can make these periods of time more bearable.
For me, understanding this process enables me to move past situations more quickly and with less interruption to my daily life. Don't get me wrong though, this process did not happen over night. It is and area that I have taken small steps in for almost 7 years now. Below I will hare some stories of Stressful times, what I recognize within myself during these times, and how I cope.
